Uma Arts & Nathiba Commerce Mahila College, Gandhinagar was established and managed under Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal. The Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), a Trust with a 90 years old philanthropic history is dedicated to the promotion and spreading of intellectual, ethical, physical and technical education among people of the society, especially in the rural areas of North Gujarat. Venerable Chhaganbha, founder initiated the activities of the Trust in 1919 believing that Do Good, Good will come to you, which has today become the chanted motto of the Trust. The activities of the Trust commenced with a school and residential Ashram four students in the year 1921 at Kadi. From there, the Trust steadily progressed with the help of generous donations received from the society and the visionary efforts of Chhaganbha, and today manages over 40 academic institutes located at the campuses in Gandhinagar and Kadi. Nearly 32,000 young students are being groomed at both the campuses at present.
