About Institute of Management in Kerala :
University of Kerala was established on 1st November 1937 by a proclamation of the Maharaja of Travancore Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma. It was the 16th University to be established in India and the first in the State of Kerala.The University at its very inception adopted as its motto “Karmani Vyajyate Prajna” a verse from the ancient Sanskrit work Panchathanthra.
In doing so, it placed before the academic community a lofty and inspiring ideal, worth striving for in its pursuit of academic excellence. Kerala University today is one of the largest Universities in the country with more than 70 affiliated colleges and numerous teaching/research departments
